Daniel Israel is an award-winning journalist, photographer, and videographer who has been covering Hudson County for nearly half a decade.

After graduating Rutgers University- New Brunswick in 2018, Dan began freelancing for New Brunswick Today while working retail jobs on the side until he found a full-time home at the Hudson Reporter and Bayonne Community News print and digital newspapers in 2019.

From that point forward, he provided in-depth coverage of anything news-worthy in Bayonne and North Hudson, as well as expanding to write for other publications under the Newspaper Media Group umbrella including: Bayonne: Life on the Peninsula Magazine, Jersey City Magazine, and Hoboken 07030 Magazine.
